Induced After-Death Communication
(IADC) Therapy
Grief can be overwhelming, disorienting, and isolating—especially when we lose someone we love deeply. For many, there is a longing for some sense of connection, closure, or reassurance that can’t always be found in traditional talk therapy. Induced After-Death Communication (IADC) is a specialized therapeutic approach that supports individuals in processing grief while opening the possibility of profound emotional and spiritual healing.

Originally developed by Dr. Allan Botkin, IADC is a structured, evidence-informed therapy that uses an adapted form of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to access deep emotional processing. During the IADC process, many clients report spontaneous, deeply felt experiences of after-death communication—experiences that often bring comfort, relief, resolution, and a renewed sense of peace.
Who Might Benefit from IADC Therapy?
IADC therapy may be especially helpful if you are:
-
Struggling with the loss of a loved one and seeking deeper healing
-
Carrying unresolved grief, guilt, or emotional pain related to a death
-
Open to a non-ordinary yet therapeutic experience that may include spiritual or emotional communication
-
Feeling stuck in your mourning process and looking for a shift
What to Expect
IADC is typically offered in two 90 minute extended sessions [which can occur in person or online] and begins with grief-focused EMDR to gently access unresolved emotions. When these feelings are fully activated and processed, many clients naturally shift into a state where they experience a sense of contact with the deceased. These experiences—whether visual, emotional, or intuitive—are not guided or imagined but arise spontaneously from within the client’s own inner landscape.

Clients consistently report that IADC leads to significant emotional relief, peace, and a deepened sense of connection or closure.
A Safe, Compassionate Space
Whether or not an after-death connection occurs, IADC therapy provides a meaningful container for grief to move, release, and transform. I approach this work with deep respect, trauma-informed sensitivity, and an open heart—always centering your emotional safety and readiness.
